TENDER NOTICE

NFDC has a preview theatre at Nehru Centre Planetarium, Worli with a 110 seating capacity. It is proposed to refurnish the preview theatre with suitable modification to the layout, screen etc.

Interested parties who have experience in this field are required to give their offer in a two-bid format, in separate envelopes of technical bid and financial bid respectively:

1. Technical bid with drawing and design of the proposed layout & seating. The parties shall furnish the details of &nabs;&nabs;&nabs;&nabs;previous works undertaken with documentary proof.

2. Financial bid indicating the total cost.

The completed bid subscribing the envelope “Tender for Preview Theatre Refurnishing” shall be sent to Deputy General Manager (P&A), NFDC Ltd., 6th floor, Nehru Centre, Discovery of India, Worli, Mumbai 400018 within 10 days of the tender notice.

The Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reason.

Web Design and Development for NFDC

Sealed quotations are invited from reputed and experienced companies/agencies to design and develop website for , NFDC. The current website at www.nfdcindia.com would be re-modeled and additional services/facilities would be incorporated for the Corporation and for the general public. The agency should be able to integrate website to be developed for NFDC and the existing facilities provided by the nfdcindia website . The initial implementation is expected within two weeks of issue of work-order. The complete website needs to be implemented within 3 moths with mutually agreed milestones. NFDC will have exclusive right to the website and its contents. The bidders should have minimum experience of 5 years of web-site development with a minimum total gross turnover of at least Rs. One Crore each in last two years. The bidder should have experience of working on cross platforms and must have independently handled at least two assignments of a similar size and complexity during last two years. The agency interested to submit the Quotation for the jobs mentioned above, may submit the same in two parts in sealed covers – (a) Technical bid and (b) Financial bid, latest by 12.00 noon on or before February 26, 2010 . The tender document may be downloaded for submission as per the terms and conditions given therein.

1. Detailed business profile along with space and organizational structure showing details of professional, technical and other manpower.

2. The agency required to give evidence of having successfully undertaken similar projects.

3. Detailed note explaining the scope of work as understood by the agency and which shall be executed by it/him

4. Detailed lists / procedures of quality control, which the agency proposes to conduct during the execution of work.

5. Service Tax Registration No., VAT Registration No. and PAN No.

During technical evaluation preference would be given to agencies having prior experience on similar work.

Video on-demand channel for NFDC

Sealed quotations are invited from reputed and experienced companies/agencies to design and develop an on-demand channel website with pay-per-view VOD & Subscription VOD gateways for NFDC. The website should have video streaming and download functionalities for around 500 films to begin with. The agency should ensure that the server farms and streaming networks provide adequate protection against hacking , have robust billing systems, and prevent downloading in various forms and spill-over to territories other than those the corporation have acquired the copyright for. The agency should also ensure redundancy, capacity issue, sufficient inter-connectivity with ISP networks and Internet gateways, and proper load balancing and load distribution for smooth streaming of the VOD content.
